We know how activism and community organizing can sometimes feel isolating, disconnected, and lead to burnout.

Being a member of Island Solidarity Community Cooperative means being a part of a community of people with shared values, and a dedication towards environmental and social justice.

We allow you to have access to a number of helpful resources to support your work in this community. We want you to feel supported, connected, and engaged, and to offer you the tools that you need to fulfill your activism.

As a cooperative effort amongst our Affiliate Organizations, we share the following resources to all members of Island Solidarity. This space for sharing resources, online and in the real world, is called the Solidarity Centre.

Art Supplies and Activist Gear

Megaphone, Action Bus, tables, pop up tents, clipboards, button maker, PA system, and more are available to borrow for your rally or community gathering.
Contact Gear@IslandSolidarity.org to reserve equipment that you need.

Solidarity Fund

Need funds for some organizing that you’re doing? Submit a proposal. As a member, you get to vote on how the funds are distributed.
Visit our page, or email Fund@IslandSolidarity.org

Office Space and Supplies

Drop by the office anytime; we have printing equipment, office supplies, workstations, laptops, and more. Coffee and tea are on during the day, and you might just bump into one of your comrades!

Meeting Space

We have meeting space that is often available. There are two meeting rooms:
- Green Room (private, up to 12)
- Roundtable Room (semi-private, up to 6)
Also feel free to use the common hall during public event times.
To book the space, please email Admin@IslandSolidarity.org
